A macOS menu-bar app showing Ethereum gas as each block lands, and the gas on any Layer 2 the ethwatch relay carries. The gas figures come straight from a public Ethereum node; everything around them from the same public snapshot the dashboard reads.

Menu bar
The selected chain’s mark plus its current cost. Monochrome by default so it matches every other menu-bar icon; a Colour icon switch turns on the brand tile and a status dot.

Ethereum base fee with Low, Average, and High tiers and their transfer cost in USD, a 24-hour base-fee chart, a block for the chain selected in the menu bar, and the Layer 2 list — nine chains today (Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, Robinhood Chain, zkSync Era, Unichain, Scroll, Linea, Starknet). Each row expands to its own chart.
